Heart
In shadows deep, the heart did sleep,
A rhythm strong, a secret keep.
Yet darkness crept, a silent thief,
And brought the ache, the sudden grief.

Within the core, a tempest's roar,
The whispers cease, the beats no more.
A moment's lapse, a lifetime's toll,
The heart's attack, its fateful role.

But in the midst of darkest night,
A glimmer shines, a hope takes flight.
With skilled hands and hearts that mend,
A chance to heal, to love again.

So cherish well this vital beat,
With mindful care and love complete.
For in this dance of life and strife,
The heart's embrace gives endless life.
