In the caverns of the body's core,
A tale of scars and shadows bore,
Liver's song, once vibrant and free,
Now whispers of a cirrhotic sea.

Hepatitis, a stealthy thief,
Crept in with silence, sowed its grief,
A battle fought beneath the skin,
As inflammation danced within.

Alcohol, a tempting muse,
A toxin that the soul could lose,
Danced upon the liver's stage,
Leaving behind a tragic cage.

Scars emerged like ancient runes,
Etched by damage, like ghostly tunes,
Cirrhosis painted its cruel art,
A canvas of aching, broken heart.

Yet let us learn from this somber tale,
Choice is the wind that fills the sail,
To heal, to cherish, and to save,
The liver's journey from the grave.
