In the chambers of the heart's embrace,
A rhythmic dance, a vital chase,
Electrical signals in perfect grace,
Guide the beat at a steady pace.

Cardiac arrhythmia, a wayward song,
Where the heart's rhythm goes so wrong,
In atria and ventricles, where it throngs,
A symphony disrupted, not for long.

Tachycardia, swift and wild,
A racing heart, the fearless child,
Over 100 beats, the rhythm reviled,
In AFib's storm, the heart beguiled.

Then there's bradycardia's gentle hush,
A heart too slow, in silence it'll rush,
Below 60 beats, in a rhythmic crush,
Sinus bradycardia, in whispers it'll brush.

Atrial arrhythmias, in the atria's lair,
AFib and flutter, they boldly dare,
Irregular beats, like a musical affair,
The heart's tempo dances on thin air.

Ventricular arrhythmias, a darker tune,
Tachycardia and fibrillation's monsoon,
Life hangs by a thread, like a fragile balloon,
Inadequate blood, like a waning moon.

Supraventricular arrhythmias, a tale on high,
Above the ventricles, where they lie,
SVT and AVNRT, they do defy,
The heart's rhythm, as it tries to comply.

Caused by disease or imbalances untold,
Arrhythmias strike, a story unfolds,
Some silent, some with symptoms bold,
A mystery of the heart, in its secrets, it holds.

Treatment's diverse, it varies wide,
Lifestyle changes, in hope they'll bide,
Medications, like a healer's guide,
Electrical shocks, where the currents ride.

Catheters weave their intricate spell,
Implantable devices, the heart to quell,
In surgical rooms, where skilled hands dwell,
Arrhythmias, their grip begins to quail.

Seek evaluation, if you suspect their might,
For untreated arrhythmias can cast a blight,
On stroke, heart attack, in the dead of night,
A silent peril, hidden from sight.

In the world of rhythms, the heart's sweet lore,
Arrhythmias whisper, and sometimes roar,
But with care and knowledge, we can explore,
A way to heal, the heart we'll restore.
