A bone does break, but not alone,
For through the skin it finds its home.
A fracture's form, a piercing sight,
Turns day to dark, brings pain to light.

No simple crack beneath the skin,
This wound is open, dangers in.
The risk of germs, infection's near,
A careful touch, with patient care.

The surgeon's hand, so skilled, precise,
Will clean the wound and stitch it twice.
To realign and mend the bone,
The body heals, though not alone.

Antibiotics, guards in place,
Defend the wound from time's embrace.
A tetanus shot, the safety net,
For deeper risks we can't forget.

A compound break, so fierce, so raw,
Demands respect, a healing law.
The road to mending, long and slow,
But through the trials, strength will grow.

Though bones may crack and wounds appear,
The body's will is bright and clear.
It fights infection, heals with grace,
In time, restoring every trace.
