Through vessels narrow, thick with plaque,
Blood strains, and kidneys pull it back.
Arteries tight, they fight to flow,
With pressure rising, steady, slow.

In shadows deep within they sense,
The need for strength in self-defense.
Renin’s call, the hormone’s rise,
Inflates the force they recognize.

Yet why this strain upon the vein?
What message drives this unseen pain?
A silent threat, unknown at first,
Like rivers blocked, they swell and burst.

Fibromuscular walls may twist,
Or plaques of age and time persist.
Their shape and form deny the way,
The kidney’s signals go astray.

So blood surges with pressure high,
And body’s needs cannot deny,
A task that seems to guard the flow,
Becomes the source of woe and woe.

The heart beats hard, a constant plea,
To match the flow it cannot see.
Unchecked, this stress could lay its claim,
On life and health, a hidden flame.

Yet hope remains, with healing hands,
To guide blood back with steady plans.
Angioplasty, the stent’s embrace,
Or pills that work to slow the pace.

In lifestyle changes, futures bright,
In science’s grace, there shines the light.
Renal blood flows calm and clear,
When medicine and care draw near.
