First, the fire rises, a burning tide,
GERD’s embrace, where acids collide.
Then, ulcers etch their painful mark,
Wounds that linger in the dark.

Meanwhile, the bowel twists and turns,
IBD flares, as the lining burns.
On the other hand, gluten deceives,
Celiac whispers as the body grieves.

Next, pouches form, though silent first,
Diverticula swell, then quench their thirst.
Soon, malignancy takes its claim,
Cancer’s shadow, a growing flame.

Additionally, the liver fights to stand,
Scarred and weary, yet in demand.
Besides, the gallbladder, burdened with stone,
Cries for relief, yet left alone.

Likewise, the pancreas, swollen and weak,
Painfully shudders with each mystique.
In contrast, infections spread unseen,
A war within, both sharp and keen.

Thus, the GI tract, a maze profound,
Where illness lurks and hope is found.
Nevertheless, with care and light,
Healing emerges, breaking the night.
