Chronic inflammation, a hidden fire,
Burning within, a relentless desire,
To heal what's broken, to fix what's wrong,
But in the process, it lingers too long.

A silent assassin, it slowly creeps,
A thief in the night, it steals our sleep,
Causing pain and swelling, fatigue and despair,
And yet it persists, it doesn't care.

It's like a storm that never ends,
A battle fought, but never wins,
A war within, that rages on,
Till all our strength and will are gone.

It feeds on stress, and poor nutrition,
On toxins, infections, and the pollution,
It grows and thrives, in a vicious cycle,
A monster that's hard to conquer.

But we must fight, with all our might,
With healthy habits, and a positive sight,
With patience, love, and a steady will,
We can beat it, and reclaim our thrill.

For chronic inflammation, is not our fate,
It's just a phase, that we can abate,
With care and kindness, and a mindful way,
We can heal ourselves, and live another day.
