Bandage

Jan 22, 2024

Bandage, oh bandage, so plain and white,
Wrapped tightly around a wound's fright,
A simple thing, yet so very dear,
To ease our pain and lessen our fear.

With gentle touch, you cover the sore,
Protecting it from further harm and more,
A soothing balm, to heal the hurt,
And let us rest, without a dirt.

You are a symbol of care and love,
A reminder that there's help above,
A promise that we'll soon be well,
And back on our feet, we'll surely dwell.

Oh, bandage, you may be small,
But you have the power to heal us all,
You mend our wounds, and calm our hearts,
And give us hope for a brand new start.

So, here's to you, dear bandage, so true,
Thank you for all that you do,
For being there in times of need,
And helping us all to succeed.
