On skin’s broad canvas, moles appear,
Small spots of brown, sometimes unclear.
These nevi form in clusters tight,
Melanocytes creating sight.

Though often benign, they stand,
Reminders of the body's hand.
From head to toe, they find their place,
Unique in color, form, and grace.

Yet vigilance we must uphold,
For some may tell a tale untold.
Melanoma, dark and sly,
Can in these moles begin to lie.

Asymmetry’s a warning sign,
When halves don’t match, it’s not benign.
The border, too, should draw concern,
If ragged edges twist and turn.

A myriad of colors seen,
From darkest black to shades serene.
If hues begin to dance and blend,
A check from doctors, do attend.

Six millimeters, not much space,
But size does matter in this case.
When moles grow larger than this mark,
It’s time to shed light in the dark.

Evolving shapes and shifting size,
Changes seen with watchful eyes.
From flat to raised, from small to great,
Monitor each subtle state.

So keep in mind the ABCDEs,
For health and care, they are the keys.
A mole may be a simple thing,
But through its change, alarms can ring.

Seek guidance when you see the signs,
Let knowledge draw the careful lines.
In every mole, a story’s spun,
And early checks save more than one.
